Ann spends her free time in many volunteer activities throughout the community. She is always ready to get involved and help. Her most special time is spent working with children who have been severely burned at a summer camp called Camp Oo-U-La. She is one of the leaders for the week long burn camp every summer that children throughout the state can attend.

As Pokey the clown, Ann teaches local school children fire and life safety education. She works with the local fire departments throughout the area raising money for fire safety education.
